Home For The Soul

Every time we hop on a plane we always hear flight attendants sharing some variation of the Oxygen Mask Rule: “Should the cabin lose pressure, oxygen masks will drop from the overhead area. Please place the mask over your own mouth and nose before assisting others.

We’ve got to take care of ourselves before we can help others in any way.

We know this but because of our busy and hectic lives it’s not the easiest thing to do for ourselves.

We constantly put other people first and then wonder why we’re burnt-out at the end of the day.

If we want to avoid burnout, taking care of ourselves is key.

But…

We need to make it a priority.

We feel sooooooo good after a Yoga class. I even hear a lot of you say that just walking into the studio makes you feel better.

So make your practice a priority in your life.
