Our Gentle Yoga series is designed specifically for those of individuals who want to improve their activity levels, build strength, balance, mobility and range of motion in their joints and spine.

The gentle yoga movements that you’ll discover will help to:

  • Reduce stiffness
  • Improve range of motion
  • Increase your overall circulation
  • Improve your balance and stability
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Create peace of mind!

The class will include breath work, meditation, gentle stretching, a balancing sequence and relaxation.

Added Bonus of the Gentle Yoga Programs

In addition to the physical health benefits, attending yoga classes is a wonderful way of building one’s social network and studies have shown the yoga aids in reducing symptoms of stress, depression and fatigue. Yoga classes are generally conducted on the floor on an exercise mat. For seniors who have limited mobility, the poses will be adapted to the chair. Please note that there is elevator access to our studio.
